Big movers on the chart this week include "Shake A Tail Feather" by James and Bobby Purify (up 18 places from #61 to #43), "Groovin" by The Young Rascals (which climbs from #91 to #48, a move of 43 spots!), "Happy Jack" by The Who (which jumps from #67 to #51), "Portrait Of My Love" by The Tokens (moving from #70 to #56, a move of 14 places), "Melancholy Music Man" by The Righteous Brothers (which climbs from #84 to #59, a move of 25 places), "Little Games" by The Yardbirds, up twenty spots from #80 to #60, "I Was Kaiser Bill's Batman" by Whistling Jack Smith, up thirty spots from #94 to #64 and "My Girl Josephine" by Jerry Jay (which moves from #82 to #65)  

The Montreal Expo officially opens when Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson lights the flame.  Opening ceremonies take place today.  The World's Fair, later dubbed "Expo '67", officially opens to the public tomorrow on April 28th.  First person thru the gates?  Al Carter of Chicago, IL! (WTG, Al!)

Speaking of Chicago, here's the way things looked on our local charts here in Chi-Town this week ... 

WLS has another one of their Solid Gold Charts this week, looking back at the biggest hits of the '60s thus far ... and featuring The Buckinghams with their brand new #1 Record, "Don't You Care" ...

While WCFL spotlights The Robbs (who actually did very well here with their hit "Race With The Wind" the year before.  (Although it peaked at #16 on the WLS Chart it only showed as an "Extra" on WCFL ... which makes their prominence on this week's survey a little odd!)

They're also promoting Larry Lujack's overnight program again ... along with their OWN Radio Station Magazine (actually more of a newspaper), issued to compete with WLS' Personality Magazine featured earlier)
